The International Advisory Council brings together distinguished academicians, diplomats, education leaders and international policy experts who support the school in developing globally aware, research-oriented and responsible learners.
A Council of Global Experience
The International Advisory Council of Saraswati World School serves as a distinguished advisory body supporting the school’s long-term educational vision, academic development and international outlook.
The Council was originally constituted by the school management for the term 2015–2018. Its mandate was subsequently renewed for the period 2025–2028.
Through their academic, diplomatic and professional experience, Council members provide strategic guidance in areas such as research, curriculum development, international education, teacher development, student leadership and global citizenship.
Council Mandate
The Council advises the management on academic quality, institutional vision and the development of internationally responsive educational practices.
Original Term
The International Advisory Council was initially constituted for the period 2015–2018.
Renewed Mandate
The Council was renewed for another three-year term covering the period 2025–2028.
Advisory Role

A distinguished academician and former Vice-Chancellor of several Indian universities, Prof. Dr. P. C. Trivedi brings extensive institutional and academic experience to the Council.
His leadership helps ensure that the academic framework of Saraswati World School remains rooted in research, scientific inquiry, intellectual discipline and evidence-based learning.
By connecting school education with the expectations of higher education, he contributes to the development of foundational academic skills required for future study in leading universities.

Hon. Avni Dervishi
With experience connected to the Swedish Parliament and the Government of Kosovo, Hon. Avni Dervishi brings a valuable international perspective to the Council.
His understanding of diplomacy, European integration, negotiation and civic responsibility supports the school’s leadership and global citizenship programmes.
His guidance is particularly relevant to student initiatives such as Model United Nations, public speaking, leadership development, gender empowerment and international awareness.

Hon. Prof. Dr. Enrico Davide Gavello
Based in Rome, Prof. Dr. Enrico Davide Gavello serves as Secretary-General of the International Organisation of Education Charter.
His role is important in connecting Saraswati World School with international educational principles, institutional ethics and global standards of professional excellence.
His experience in international foundations and Chambers of Commerce provides strategic guidance on the relationship between education, employability, enterprise, ethics and the evolving global economy.
Advises the school on global educational ethics, professional preparedness and alignment with international standards.

Hon. Prof. Dr. Jenero Rosemary Shepherd
Prof. Dr. Jenero Rosemary Shepherd contributes a European and transnational perspective to the academic development of the school.
